Why flower buds falling off?
Cloves are the most vulnerable plants, so they first show the consequences of inadequate education, climate or pests. The following are the most common reasons:
Water - insufficient or excessive watering. Detrimental is watering with cold water.
Drizzle - soft tissue and moisten the buds is easy target for attack of fungi.
Temperature - is the most common culprit for the fall of buds. Phalaenopsis cloves fall at temperatures below 16 ˚ C, while Cymbidiums dropped buds at temperatures above 25 ˚ C. Good to know the requirements of a particular genus, and they make them more nearly.

Humidity - if it is too low, the cloves become dry, and then fall.
Air quality - if you have plants at the window at the traffic road, you keep at least during the flowering rather closed. Injury to tobacco smoke and the proximity of ripe fruit, which is excreted gas ethylene.
Light –lack of light means that the plant probably will not be able to assimilate enough food to sustain all the buds, and therefore a few dropped.
Chemicals - over-fertilization or the use of certain pesticides fall causing premature drying of buds and open flowers. Hold the manufacturers instructions.
Pests - the most common culprits are the trips and the lice that suck juicy tissues future flowers. These are deformed because of this, or did not open in fall.
